This registration is for anyone interested in being a part of the Greater Flint Disabled Hockey (sled hockey) Program. Sled hockey is a part of USA Hockey's Disabled Program and is designed for individuals who have lower body limitations but have some upper body mobility. All individuals, both youth (ages 6 - 17) and adults, who are disabled due to accident, born with a disability, or have a disabling disease are welcomed to complete this registration and be a part of our team. Regardless of ability, USA Hockey has made this sport available to all because hockey is for everyBODY! GFDH is proud to be a part of this effort by offering sled hockey to everyone who's currently being physically challenged and wants to participates.
In this registration you'll be asked to provide some general information, print / fill out forms necessary to play, and be provided with links to view equipment needed to participate. The biggest equipment need is a sled and a pair of sticks / w picks. We have 5 sleds and 4 pair of sticks available for use. Even if you don't have a sled or want to get one but are unsure of what to order, please complete this registration. We'll provide the necessary help to get you started.
